So Parcells recommended Rex Ryan to the jets when they were looking for a head coach. This was all while working for the dolphins as their V.P.

I knew everyone in Miami like the Jets better then the fins! (After all most of them are from New York originally),But their own employees that's sad!

hmmm...

dolphins 3, Jets 1...since Parcells came to miami.

And Rex won't bring a championship to the Jets, so it really doesn't matter.

Hmmmmm jets two playoff appearances, two AFC Championship games, 4 playoff wins (on road), jets 20 wins........in 2 seasons..........super bowl TBD

Dolphins zero playoff appearances, and two losing seasons at 7-9

and iirc, the fish beat the Jets at home the last game of that season to clinch it and complete the sweep...........and it also gave them the tiebreaker against the Pats.:(

I was hoping the Pats would make it that year! It goes to show how good bellicheck is. Took Matt Cassel and had a winning year!! He couldn't get on the field at USC!!!!

Yep...I was rooting for the Jets the final game that season and they blew it
