Are there any stargate fans in here? I was would like to get your opinion of SGU. And also what was your favorite series. Mine was Atlantis by far.

SGU is a bit slow for my taste, and where is the Jack O'Neill humour?

SGA was very good, but SG1 is classic (FYI - my psn id is JohnShepperd

).

Hope the new SGA movie comes out soon.

although it is moving rather slow, it seems to be picking up pace. I was kinda dissapointed that this weeks episode didn't have an alien encounter, and also that they had to add a little more drama with a pregnancy. I'm holding out for the hope that they will gain control of the ship and be able to go where ever they want, and more importantly be able to substancially win firefights. I sorely miss the fast paced action of SG-1 and Atlantis. Quite frankly I can't believe they ended Atlantis the way they did, and I also can't wait for a movie.

If you are a fan of John Shepards, you should get yourself a 360 and check out Mass Effect and Mass Effect2. Those are some of the best games I have ever played. The first one had a better storyline but the second one had better action.

I like SG1 O'neal was my favorite but I like Jackson too lol.

I've watched Stargate since i can remember.
I love both SG-1 and Atlantis. each had their own unique pluses to the show.
SGU is undecided right now. still waiting for something to completely latch me onto it. im still going to watch it, but im not a crazed fan at the moment.

Any info on the Atlantis movie???

its in post preproduction but has been put on hold, due to slipping DVD sales & a few other things

SG1 was the best. SGA had some great arcs but always seemed to be missing something. I agree SGU is slow-paced and so dark given their circumstances - unsure the new CGI aliens will help it.

I am.....I never missed a SG1 show......I have them all and the movies.....I like the others as well.....but not as much as SG1......SGU is new and developing.....so for I like it. but it has GREAT BIG shoes to fill.

Well, It turns out SGU has become a great show. I have to watch every week. What sucks is syfy.com has pushed the episodes from a day after, to a week after, and now to a month after airing. Since I don't have cable I have to pay $2/episode on my xbox.

Not as well written as the other two series. I own every season of SG and SG:A but I just could not watch STU.

Oh and I blame this particular nerdy aspect of my life on my soldiers in Afghanistan who pretty much ran marathons of SG1 the entire first half of the deployment.
