Just saw it. It was awesome, like more awesome than I expected.

Discuss.

I just got back from it too, our local newspaper bitched that he didn't speak with a German accent, but he spoke German at the beginning and progressively moved to English apparently those idiots couldn't tell what the director was doing.

I heard the movie was great, but TC's acting was as bad as it was in Jerry McGuire. I am going to see it to watch Eddie Izzard's performance. That and the plot seems great.

Very good movie. I enjoyed every minute of it. The only problem with the movie is that you know exactly what going to happen before you see it. Big surprise. Unless you don't know jack about history, then the movie was extremely suspenseful for ya.

I agree completely. Honestly very few people spoke with an accent, and it worked out very well. Within fifteen minutes it wasn't even noticeable anymore, and I thought Cruise's acting was actually very good.

It's very hard for a movie to impress me, and this one did.

Complaining that they weren't speaking with an accent? Last time I checked, most Germans spoke German not English with a German accent. If you really want authenticity it should have been subtitled.
