Surf the web as it was
The Internet Archive's Wayback Machine puts the history of the World Wide Web at your fingertips. The archive contains 56 billion captures of over 10 billion web pages from as far back as 1996.

Trying out a few pages there, looks more like it just puts the web page in a '96 style format, as the whitehouse.gov page still shows today's info.

-edit- Oh wait, if you click the show all button you can go 'back in time' and see any snapshots they may have of that particular page. Interesting.

Id look for less common websites then the gov ones but yea it does work.

They got snapshots of my personal website in mid devlopment in 04
