My friend just got a 2011 cadillac CTS V coupe

First of all my friend's parents are LOADED and bought him this car. He is only 20 years old. I got a look at it the other night and wow what a nice car. 556 horsepower and all the luxury. A cadillac is not my kind of car but I do have to say this is not like the other cadillacs i have seen before! Can't wait to see the camaro matched up with this engine next year!

*edit* He got the cts coupe not the V. Sorry!

That's not a CTS-V Coupe. It's a standard CTS Coupe, presumably with the 304 HP 3.6L V6. A V-series would have a larger lower grille for increased air intake and chromed mesh across both grilles, plus a more aggressive front fascia.

Judge much? I bought both of mine while going to school full time making under 10/hr at 18 and 22, then took apart the engine of a 3rd and put it back together, and helped fix a 4th & was given the 3rd in return. What's your excuse?

I have that CTS coupe in my sights. I can't wait. Your friend has a sweet car!

So it's not a "V" still a nice car! If someone gave me one I'd be happy, a very lucky person, I hope they appreciate the gift.

you appreciate things more when you have to work for it, that's all I can say. But I really love the CTS coupe. If I could've afforded it I'd have bought the CTS-V coupe instead of the Camaro, even the Z-28. But really, there are a lot of cars I'd buy if I had the money! haha. The CTS coupe really is appealing to just about EVERYBODY in my age range. Cadillac did a good job on this one!

My parents have NEVER bought me a car. I inherited my dads Saab, but he made damn sure that I was responsible for everything that happened to it.

Now we are waiting for a new car that I will use for work, but it is bought with work in mind, trough the company and it is a company car, and it also a pretty small car and a diesel. NOT some fun-luxuary coupe that I haven't done shit to earn.

My simple question is this: in what kind of world balance does this kid get this car when I who work my ass off can't even get a cheaper Camaro SS?
