Hahahaha. My parents grew up in the Philippines and we have a bunch of Filipino friends. The food is amazing. Especially lichon.

first had it when i was 6 on the streets of manila. My mom told me to go try it. I was extremely confused, but eventually ate, and liked it.

Coke in the bag is common in Mexico as well. I remember vacationing in Mexico and when I'd go buy a soda, in the bag it went. Something to do with the shop having to return the bottles to their vendors or something.

I asked a buddy of mine at work who's from Cambodia. That's basically what he answered. The shop gets the cash for recycling. You can have the bottle, but the price is doubled or something he said.
