Am I the only one that's insulted by the people being allowed to do their anti-gay and anti-military protests at military funeral?

You want to prtest the military, fine. do it outside the bases or government offices. Show some respect. I feel its more of a personal attack on a good person. It isn't just about the military for me. You shouldn't be remitted to protest at any funeral.

A family is already having to deal with the loss of a loved one and now they have to deal with your self rightous bull!!

I think all the veterns past and present need to start protesting out side their places.

I'm making my sigh. It will say "Keep Your Self Political and religious BS in your own house and away from mine"

hey my friend,,,don't be sorry.. there are many of us with same feelings. i dont want to make this a political chat, but the supreme court says..8-1 that this is a free speech situation..fine so be it.....but we need to get many, many people and when a warrior returns home and is buried we need to use or constitutional right of ASSEMBLY and block out those who would denegrate this event. It boils down to a morality issue with these people, And THEY need to see the light.

Agree there isn't anything stopping it. I think there needs to be something passed on the grounds of right of privacy. You can't protest on my private property (at least not without a load of buck shot entering the soft tissue you sit on), a funeral should be a private function.

You have the right to assemble as long as it doesn't interfer with the rights of others.

I just needed to rant. I am by no means a policial person.

yeah, that stuff really pisses me off too... I've had family in nearly every war the US has been in. My grandpa was in WWII, he's the oldest in the family... but I got some back to the civil war. I couldn't imagine someone protesting at his funeral..... if there was... there'd be another funeral a few days later for those little....... . An older guy I knew was in the Air Force and was at a funeral for a friend of his when some people showed up protesting.... he went over and said "Unless you want me protesting at your funeral later this week.... you better get outta here" . Point taken... they left
