ZL1 A10 option Pricing
So I am one of the people that will be getting an A10 ZL1 shortly after release (I'll probably order an '18 the moment ordering banks open next July).
Anyways, I am tossing around how much the options I want will run in my head: $495 for a Navigation $500 for the interior carbon fiber dash insert $600 for the exposed carbon weave hood $1,300 for a gas guzzler tax I hope doesn't come true. That leaves the price of the A10 transmission. I am thinking about $2,000 for this option, given my 8 speed was $$1,495. I got on the Ford website to build a '17 F-150 because as some know, GM and Ford collaborated on the 10 speed transmission, so they will be very similar in design and build. I assume their pricing will be similar too. Ford is charing $2,895 for the 10 speed option over the 6 speed! That leads me to think the ZL1 10 speed will be at least that amount..... What do you guys think?

depends on how much of that ford price has overhead built in, they invested over 1 billion in their transmission plant to be able to produce the a10, GM invested less than 500 mil

The A10 is only $1650 in Canada according to the other threads from our neighbors up North. Apparently they can build theirs on the GM site. So our price should be cheaper.

l just personally went the the Canadian Chevy site and built a ZL1 and it listed the auto as $1695. It doesn't offer options like stripes and Carbon Fiber options but sunroof and other accessories it does.......

Thanks for clarifying that guys!
If it's $1650 up there in Canada, it will probably be $1400 or under down here considering Canadians are paying $1195 for a sunroof we pay $900 for in the states. Now I just need a solid number for the gas guzzler tax. I know it won't be over $1300 because the '16 CTS-V has one for that price with an 8 speed transmission.

I am estimating they will raise the price by no more than $400.

I priced it out on the Canadian website, the ZL1 A10 option is $1695 and the SS A8 is also $1695....
So my guess is $1495 for the A10 in the states like the A8 on the SS.....
