2010 Camaro #14 Fuse Keeps blowing?
Any help on why my number 14 fuse is blowing repeatedly?
Its a cammed full Bolton ls3 auto with dod delete, will run great for awhile when its cleared codes and new fuse but then it blows it? Any ideas ? Also the 2 codes are fuel module control valve for fuel system and 02 sensor code but went away. |

Fuse 14 protects the Manifold Air Flow Chassis Control. I would check for a short on the connector and wiring of the Sensor.

Some people have pinched wiring doing mods...…… or fried wiring on headers also...….

Just wanted to update on what happen, I ended up finding the front 02 sensor driver side happen to be a little burnt, replaced it and its perfect since done a lot of pulls and the fuse is still great. That same day I went threw the drive thru and waited in line for about 15 mits in gear and all of sudden the light comes on. Its not the same engine light for the maf this time it was the p0700 I've done some research and found its pretty common but is that common when the maf is relearning? I've since cleared the code and everything is perfect but wondered why it happen? It never has thrown that code before and it only happened at idle. Also the car is a heavy cammed/3800 stall na / nos 2010 camaro ss auto if that helps any.

Try cleaning the MAF sensor with some MAF cleaner (use ONLY MAF cleaner). Also check the plug for loose/dirty connections. If it keeps blowing fuses there's a short somewhere in the circuit.

I bought a brand new factory GM Delco new maf sensor but the real problem was the front o2 sensor. Its perfect now and the fuses are fine, I was just curious why it would throw a po700 code out of nowhere? Tranny shifts perfect and I cleared it everything's perfect just wondered why it threw that?

Today I took it for a drive and everything was great
Shifted fine and maf fuse is perfect still, only thing is Is when I got of the freeway and coasted down to a stop sign the car died? Rpm went straight to zero. Still trying to figure out what's going on. If anyone has any insight at all would really help. |

Only thing I could think of was maybe the throttle postion sensor? I unplugged awhile back and im trying the relearning process to see if that had anything to do with it.
