SHOPCHEVYPARTS.COM BAD EXPERIENCE

I ordered a security shade and indoor cover from shopchevyparts.com for my incoming C7.

I ordered on November 5th. Weeks go by and nothing....

I give them a call and they tell me the indoor cover is on backorder. (why did I have to call them to find this out?)
I tell them to send the security shade and I'll take the cover whenever... no rush....

Another couple of weeks pass by and still nothing....
During this time I submitted no less than 3 "tickets" online asking about my order.....

I log on to find out what is up with my order since they have yet to contact me only to find out my order is "canceled" and my tickets I submitted asking for order status have all been deleted? (I assume deleted since when I search for the ticket number it can't be found)

Not a great way to handle customers....

Now I know why they have the cheapest prices... because they have no parts and no customer service employees... I think it's some teenager in his basement selling GM parts.

UPDATE:
Just talked to them on the phone (you have to search for the phone number... it's not listed on the "contact us" page)

Basically I was told the order was canceled because the "payment ran out". In other words because I didn't contact them to ask about my order within 30 days the order was canceled.
But.... I DID send no less than 5 "support tickets", called and talked to them 2 weeks into the order thinking I had it resolved, AND left a message asking about the order when I called after hours one day. ALL WITH NO REPLY.... ok.... I didn't contact them?

Step far away from ShopChevyParts.COM.

ordered the part through gmpartshouse.com (gene) and had it in 4 days!

That's crappy gb eb,

I had a similar experience, but not as bad as yours.

The indoor cover was back ordered, I just had to wait 10 days before it could ship out. It is due to arrive end of day tomorrow. It is silly that there's no posted phone number on their site.

After shopchevyparts screwed the order up I place the order with gmpartshouse and had the cover in 4 days.

Shochevyparts.com... Worst experience of my life. See

I made a purchase from shopchevyparts.com, the prices weren't bad, they charge a lot for shipping and THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. I purchased gm wheel locks, stingray floor mats and a indoor car cover. Month and a half later the cover is still on back order. Which is fine, however, I have gotten no correspondence from them. I have written emails asking what is going on and I get a reply saying "we don't know when it will be in". Again a month after, I have written two emails of displeasure and they have still yet to reply. I asked for shipping compensation... They offered to refund the entire order. WTF kind of customer service is that. I'm sure I speak on behalf of most of us, if I can afford a new corvette, I can afford to shop elsewhere.

They canceled the order because apparently I complained to them about their service.

I finally got mine too. This is a "hard to find" item. When I ordered mine, they had one in stock-I was shocked.

good info... thanks... I was wondering if you were one of the lucky few (very few) that had a good experience with shopchevyparts.

BTW- I like your avatar.... I live about 1/2 mile from the Blue Angels hangar.

^^^ That's awesome! I flew with the Blue Angels on a "Media Hop" here in Kansas City. I actually got to fly the F/A-18 Hornet!

Yes sir! There is full stick and throttle in the back seat. He cut me loose-I got to fly that bad boy. You think a C7 is responsive....It's got nothing on an F/A-18.
