tickets

how long does it take tickets to fall off your record in reguards to getting lower insurance ?

My insurance lists them for 3 years... Not sure how long they actually stay on your record...

i think they stay on your record longer because i just got my record in the mail and its goin back 7 years but yeah im just wondering how long they stay on the insurance

I think it depends on what kind of ticket it is and if you took a class to take the points or whatever it is that goes on your license.

My son also had an at fault accident that took 3 years to fall off the insurance... Call your insurance and find out, my bet is they all handle it a bit differently. My son and I are with USAA.

yeah i just called a buddy with state farm he said they do it where its every 3 years but some companies are 5 years , what im tryin to figure out is when i did this policy on the camaro i was 24 with 3 tickets at 322 a month and when i renew it, i will be 25 and only 1 ticket so im curious how much of a difference it will be

In Texas the norm is 3 years.

Depends on the state, but 3 years is typical for insurance...I had one on my record for 7 years, but didn't affect insurance after 3. Accidents and OUIL will stay on longer, sometimes 10 years.
