I already have a iphone and a teethered netbook. I cant see spending 400-800 bux on something that can only read a book that my netbook cant do. Plus I have usb and a card reader already built into my netbook that the ipad doesnt have, so I would still need a laptop to sync anything up eg: songs, photos, movies.

I said "no".....but not because it's worthless.
I just don't need/want one right now...

Besides, next year I might get the equally-capable, and less clumsy Iphone...which would make this thing redundant.

I never jump at the first generation of new technology.

It is interesting, and in reality a very good peek at the future.

Magazines and newspaperss are hurting very badly. With everyone depending on the "Internet" more and more every day, this will be the start of a real game change for the print media. I already use an electronic book reader.

We shall see. We shall see.....

i wish this would have been out for when i bought my laptop. All i wanted was the internet,music and photos. I also use pages which is avaliable for 10 bucks. Just wondering how to print the papers i type off.

It's a jumbo sized Touch that still isn't able to multi-task. So the answer would be absolutely not.

I have an iPhone. No need for more crap. I'd rather put that $ towards my car.

I really want to like it. I really do.

But I don't. If it offered just a bit more, I'd be interested. But I really can't see any real benefit over my iPod touch besides the larger screen.
