opti coat on a stinger stripe

Permanent protection in a syringe!

Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 Permanent Paint Coating

1. wipe down stripe with ISP (50/50 alcohol/water)
2. put 5-7 drops on stripe - work in with the sponge they give you - side to side - up down
3. wait 3-5 min for it to flash (evap) and use a MF to buff off the apply marks - buff a bit...
4. Done - did the front vent too:

Does this eliminate the "ridge" where the edge of the vinyl stripe meets the painted hood?

No....it's micro thin ......but again be careful of being too OCD… As nobody else can tell The ridge is there…

Did you install the stipe yourself or was it done by the dealer?

had a local mod shop do it for $50

They just mounted it......stripe is from vettefx.com
