Lost my sis

Just needed to talk,

My sister lost her 2yr battle with cancer last night at 11:30. She was given till July 2013 but defied the odds and fought a hard battle till she was called home last night. This has been the most difficult thing in my life seeing a vibrant young woman degrade to nothing. This experience has opened my eyes to how precious and short life is. I am thankful for a lot this year but most thankful that I was able to be In her life and had her love.

My heart is broken and probably will never heal but I know she's with my mom now and she is finally pain free. I will miss talking to her and the times where we laughed so hard we almost passed out.

She left behind 2 children, 14 & 16

Jenny Ruth Hutchinson 2/10/72- 11/28/13

Thanks for listening to me and allowing me to talk it always helps.

-Tim

Sorry to hear about your loss brother, cancer has also taken people that are dear to me. My grandmother raised me all of my life and she fought it 5 different times until she lost the battle in 2007. It really does suck and you never fully heal, the best you can do is keep her memory strong and be there for the others in your life... good luck brother

Timna, my prayers to you and your family. Lost my only sister Jul 18th. The best way I've been able to cope is understanding I'll get through the pain, but I'll never get over it. May God bless your sister.

Thank you everyone I really appreciate your comments. Cancer is a horrible disease that I wouldn't wish on even the most terrible person. I always thought that at least everyone can say goodbye so it wasn't bad like going to the store and not coming back. But after seeing her scream in pain for months on end and just rotting away I think that cancer is the most horrific way anyone could go. I am just glad knowing she is not in that pain any longer.

Thanks again it means a lot to me that people are thinking about her.

My cousin's husband lost his cancer battle a few weeks ago. I'm very sorry for your loss - she was so young.

I lost my father to lung cancer 3.5 years ago at age 67, I'll never be the same. My thoughts are with you and your family.
