Did I see a C7 Vette?
I'm a few days late, but I'm still not sure I saw what I think I saw
. We were on our way home from Toronto on Friday. We were heading east (towards the GM offices if anyone remembers from the festival), still in Toronto. Traffic was fairly heavy so I needed to pay attention to what was in front of me. But out of the corner of my eye, on my left, I saw a low profile car, blue in colour, go by on the west bound lanes. I quickly looked in the rear view mirror, and I swear the tail lights were the new style....that's when I yelled "That was a new Vette!!" And I'm sure I saw "something" silver on the front quarter panel (behind the front wheel). A Canadian GM exec? Overly tired but jacked on strong Starbucks coffee? Or did I actually see one?

I don't have a cell phone, but even if I did, when I turned to my left to look, we were side by side and only for a split second. I had to be focused on driving so I didn't rear end the car in front
. I had to quickly look in the rear view mirror to even check out the new tail lights. This happened literally in one second. I ask my original question because I didn't think the new corvettes were being produced/being delivered yet?

If it had the corvette profile with squared off LED tail lamps, and a chrome stingray badge, chances are yes, you saw one lol

Corvettes are in production. Pre-production cars have been out for months now though.

My husband and I saw a yellow one in Goodlettsville, TN day before yesterday. We were in traffic so it was past too fast for a pic, but there was no doubt what it was.

I have seen at least a dozen so far in this area. The first few had manufacturer plates, but lately regular plates.

Being in the Motorcity and not far from a few locations where various vehicle tests are performed, I have been fortunate to see quite a few of the new corvettes driving around. I posted a video of some on the highway on our Facebook Page about 2 months ago, they are awesome to see in motion!
