Honestly, if the Mustang is a manual, in good shape, and he can drive, I would have to give it to them, those cars ere capable of high 13s stock, auto a manual Camaro SHOULD have it, and an auto would be a close race. Also, shouldn't this be in the Camaro Vs. forum?

You should be able to take it. Those numbers aren't too impressive. Unless you mess up. You'll win. Here is a quick review from a mustang forum. http://www.mustangspecs.com/years/02.shtml

Lol, you really think it is only capable of a 14.7? A number of mags got 13.8-14.0 and I have seen stock ones hitting 13.9s, make no mistake the Mustang with a manual has the advantage. Even though it has less HP it has more torque and more importantly, around a multi hundred pound weight advantage.

The GTs huge weight advantage and gearing help it in this fight....but if the GT is also stock you have a good chance...probably better chance from a roll than a dig.

I've seen the V6 take this car before but it could go the other way as well. Are u sure if his car is stock? Manual or auto?
