As they say in the article they are breaking the company in two as was suggested for GM. The "good part" should be out of bankruptcy on May 27 the "bad part" will take awhile since it will involve selling of plants and other assets.

You're right but the article says the "good" parts of Chrysler are Dodge trucks and the Jeep brand. Challenger is probably then lumped in with the "bad" part of Chrysler (Dodge cars) for now, even though it's a good model. That could be bad news for Challenger pre-orders?

This is misleading.
It WILL only take 2 months to complete what matters. According to the article, the "good Chrysler" will be salvaged and spit out within the short amount of time mentioned. The rest...will be stuck in the courts for much longer. But those bits don't matter as they won't be part of the 'restructured' company. This is NOT new news.
