You are a millionaire and just were just named the MVP after winning the Super Bowl! What did you expect?

Oh, I don't know... Taking three seconds to say "thank you" and accept the keys, so you don't look like an entitled jerk?

He is sponsored by Toyota (I think it's Toyota) so this is not at all surprising. He also has enough money to buy everyone on that football team a Grand Sport.

I was thinking the same thing, not sure if they are national, but here in NY he's in a million toyota commercials. But honestly, there was a lot going on, be probably just wanted to get off the podium and celebrate (and go answer more dumb questions from the media).

He actually said "Thank you" twice, that we could hear.

Still, I think it's kind of rude not to say anything and just walk away.. Actually made him look stupid

It seems kind of silly that Manning would go ga-ga over a new car...They should have a contest beforehand, where like if you pick the mvp, a name is drawn, or whatever, and some average joe actually gets the car!!

Meh, I don't think it was a snub on purpose. Seems like they were making their pitch about the car, he's being distracted by celebrating something....I don't know what....perhaps winning the super bowl! I doubt he thought he was about to be handed keys.

It's not going to be the same reaction when you hand the keys to a corvette to a millionaire that just won the super bowl minutes ago, as it would giving it to a middle class worker who couldn't afford one otherwise.

In other words, I thought it was funny.

I've always questioned why GM even bothers...

In any case, he can keep pitching Toyotas and drive home in a Camry SE. I mean, that's sporty, right?
