Most Popular Cars For Men And Women

Here's a link I found interesting. My wife just bought a VW Beetle and I thought is was fitting because, any car that comes with a flower vase as a standard feature-- is clearly a chick's ride. It's neon green and she put bright yellow sunflowers in the vase!

It's kind of a sad state of things when all the 'mens cars' are actually trucks (save the 'Vette)... Why have guys abandoned cars?

Also, what makes a car a 'guys car'? From what I can tell, it MUST be inefficient, expensive, and over-the-top macho... I mean, James Bond drove an Aston Martin DB5 that took 8.1seconds to get to 60mph but it was hardly a 'chic's car'?

Does it have to be fast? Does it have to be macho? What is it?

Anyway, there's almost no doubt that the new Camaro is going to be a guys car, and I'd wager that the audience will be >80% male.

Oh, the new Camaro audience is def male, but more like-- 90%.

Even the majority of Asian dude's dig it.

But I think that it's the macho thing that guys are attracted to. Guys don't like to look weak or puny or drive things that are "cute", so we gravitate towards that which is strong and powerful. I mean, how many arm wrestling contests are women involved in? Not to say that they're weak, but they just don't give a crap like men do. Female body builders are different, I have no logical explanation for that...

Yup, and all the women in those pictures are just there because their boyfriends dragged them there. I was surprised at the LA auto show how many people from the ricer crowd seemed to like it.

Thats my fav quote from the article

Reminds me of my cute test. Guys, if you are considering a car ask a girlfriend, wife, sister, etc, if they think the car is cute. If they say yes its not the car for you.
