Forza or GT5?

Which should i go ? Played the first forza years ago and loved and played the last gt on ps2 and loved but i dont know where to start?

I have the same dilemma as you, I have always been a Gran Turismo fan and never played Forza, I have the PS2 and want to buy the PS3 for GT5 or the xbox for Forza 4, I hear more votes for Forza 4 than GT5, but I am still undecided on which one to get.

LOL good luck with this one, this is like asking at a general car forum "Ford Vs Chevy, which is better". You'll never get a definitive answer.

That said I prefer GT5, if only for the fact I already had a PS3 and PS3 IMO is a better system (Blu-Ray, uses USB accessories, doesn't have reliability issues, free online gameplay). You can't go wrong with either one, but its nice to be able to use my PS3 accessories with my PC since everything is USB, or to be able to use any laptop HD to upgrade the storage (MS has proprietary ones)

My vote goes to forza because most of my friends play it and have xboxes ( they still think ps3 is too expensive for what you get /sigh)

GT5

Forza 4 may have cooler cars and some more customization options, but GT5 is the better racing simulator hands down. If you want a better than average arcade racer that lets you rice out your car, get Forza. If you want a real driving experience, go for GT5.

If you don't already have either system, I'd definitely say get a PS3 over a 360. The PS3 has more functionality and free online play. The only thing the 360 has going for it is the Kinect. It's better than the PS Move, but I don't really care for either and they're not necessary for racing games.
