I think I'm getting old

So I'm at the car wash the other day running my second car through the express wash line. When the scanner reads the bar code on my car the machine spits out a receipt I'm supposed to give to the attendant. Since its a little too far of a reach with my left arm I release my seat belt and lean out the window to try to grab it with my right. It was at this point I felt it, I pulled my right oblique muscle. I knew it was strain right away also, so I swallowed my pride and proceeded through the wash without the receipt.

Its been a couple days and the obique muslce is still a little sore but otherwise gradually healing like it should. If it was a complete muscle tear (I thought it might be at first) I wouldn't be able to move properly and there would be a lot of bruising. I've been lifting weights since I was 12 and been doing marthathon training for the past 10 years, so to have this happen at a car wash while reaching for a receipt is just damn embarassing. Now I realize that this can happen to anyone but the picture I can't get out of my head is an old man falling down and breaking his hip.

Better to think you are getting old than to know it. LOL

Probably doesn't bode well that I remember when that music video first came out.
