Parts contract for 2013

What do you make of this..
Maybe going Alpha in 2013? Just wondering.

News Release

Albion, Ind. -- Representatives from General Aluminum have awarded the new launch of the 2013 Cadillac CTS, Camaro and the new Cadillac SUV, RWD (Rear Wheel Drive) and AWD (All Wheel Drive) Electric Steering Rack and Cover Alpha Program machining to Albion, Indiana based BUSCHE. This five year program represents four different part numbers, two racks and two different covers, for a combined total of over 250,000 pieces annually.
Nick A. Busche, CEO/President of BUSCHE, advised the new work will create 12 new jobs, requires an investment of $2 million in new capital with the installation of four (4) new OKUMA 500 Millimeter Horizontal Machining Centers along with other existing capital. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to team up with General Aluminum and ZFLC to perform precise, high speed machining to the aluminum castings provided by General Aluminum. “The new electric Steering Racks and covers are safety critical work which Busche is noted for and excels in. The new Business is projected to be up and running production by summer 2012 in Busche’s Plant 5 facility located in Albion, IN.


Busche a CNC Production machining organization located in Albion, Indiana announced today an investment of over $3 million for the purchase of six (6) CNC Horizontal Machining Centers this year, creating 12 new jobs to handle the machining and assembly of Chrysler’s New Sedan Control Arm for General Aluminum out of Ravenna, Ohio. The five year contract calls for the machining of over 340,000 pieces annually of a Longitudinal SX Rear Right and Left Hand Control Arms while installing three isolator bushings to each component. Full production will beginning in January of 2012 in Busche’s Plant 5 in Albion, Indiana. General Aluminum Mfg. Co. Inc. manufactures aluminum products and components. Offering drive train/transmission components, brake system components, housing and covers, support and mounting brackets, suspension components, and oil filter adapters. Jim Seymour, Manufacturing Advance Group, Engineering Development/Program Manager, commented, “By using the latest technologies in machining and assembly to produce this product, while solidifying our partnership with General Aluminum – these are exciting times for Busche and all its employees.
