Need help/advice - buying unlocked iPhone

Wanting to buy an unlocked iPhone 4 or 4S for my girlfriend for Christmas. She has TMobile, which we have been having problems with. Her phone hasn't worked right since day one. They have replaced it numerous times with refurbished models that are worse than the previous one. Since she added her mom to her plan back in January, she cannot upgrade her phone until January 2014. I'm looking for any advice or resources for buying an unlocked iPhone. Wasn't sure if eBay would be reliable enough for something like this.

I don't see a problem with eBay, they have a great buyer protection program, so I would just make sure you buy one from a seller with good feedback and if there's any issues then open up a case to get it fixed

Craigslist is an option.

Craigslist too, although with this economy I do find it hard to trust people on Craigslist, people will do anything to rip people off these days.

Yeah, I would feel more comfortable with eBay than Craigslist.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

That back glass could be buffed out pretty easily too if that's a concern

Its the screen protector, not the actual glass. The glass underneath is mint condition.

The front has a few hairline scratches and the one small dent/scratch/whatever you want to call it. It too had a screen protector. I took the front one off because it was worn from over 2 years of use. The phone will come with a new one to install.
