New Opel coming the the states, it's called the insignia and it's turbocharged. See in on the way to mall

We already have it, it's called the Buick Regal. That was probably some kind of test unit posible for the Regal GS

It's just an Insignia that made its way to the states being driven by some GM exec or engineer. There are a few Middle East-spec Chevrolet Luminas being driven around Detroit as well. Doesn't really mean a whole lot. They may be doing some cold-weather testing here or something.

It had Michigan manufacturer plates and some little wired gauge up on the dash

It's possible, but it does have manufacturer plates, which leads me to believe that this is just an Insignia GM had sitting around that someone decided to take on a road trip.
