You could buy a GT500 for way less and have the same power. I don't get it.

This is why I questioned why the GT500 stayed with the 5.4. I get the whole point of tried and true block but my opinion (can't believe I am saying this about Mustangs) is that the GT500 should be 700hp...can't believe I just said that....

Better suspension/Traction.

Faster times with less power.

I don't really get the price either, it is most likely due to the interior and exterior dress up compared to the GT500 which is largely untouched.

Then again, take the GT500 slap on some UCA's/FRPP Dampers and it should out run this. It seems to be pitted against itself. GT500 is less boy racer and the GT350 is "HELLO LOOK AT ME I'M 18!!!!"

overpriced but god damn that thing is nasty.

especially when you consider they can't drive the gt500 to save their life.

And the 624hp version will definitely be a beast if that was what they were getting at 550.

Great car with lots of potential but that 12.0 would quickly turn into a 11.0 with a set of sticky tires.

There was a younger guy at my local test and tune night with a brand new 5.0L GT with dealer plates still on it running 12.1-12.3's @117 and would of been in the 11's on his 12.2 pass but something happened and he only got 95mph on his 12.2 run.

After talking for a bit all he had on it was the Steeda CAI and 18" DR's.... THAT'S IT. no tune, no exhaust, nothing but CAI and tires and then new GT's are good for low 12's all night and possible high 11's. His best 60 foot was an amazing 1.68 vs my 1.76

Tune is mandetory with that cai. Car will not run correctly without it.

I think that is the better car between it and the GT500 but i agree that the price is too high.

Why would they designate it the GT350? Usually the higher the number, the "better" the car.
