Why does everyone ask for a price by PM instead? Why isn't the price aloud in the thread?

If you want to know a price without PM's you have to go to the vendor section where they are allowed to post prices.. they are not allowed to post prices in the general forum sections...per this thread

It's this way on virtually all forums. It's because of the fact that there are numerous vendors and sponsors, and nobody is allowed, or wants, to step on each others toes.

Prices aren't allowed to be posted outside of the Marketplace. It prevents the site from being flooded by commercial movements. It's a simple fact of the trade that you sell wherever possible...so in order to keep threads clean and on topic -- we chose to restrict price quotes to the marketplace.
