That's not a Viper. It represents a possible Viper replacement. For me, explaining Chrysler decisions is not easy. This looks like it could be a champ, but what Chrysler really needs are Avengers that outsell Civics to make up all the market share Chrysler has lost over all these years.

honestly i dont see why not...and i know its not the viper but a replacement but easier to just call it that, they look similar but its more based off a lotus platform i think?

that isnt even a viper replacement , it is a dodge EV based of of the telsa it does 0-60 in 4.9....def not even close to viper standards.....EPIC FAIL whoever wrote that article

I thought it was based off a lotus, like the Tesla is.

it is based of the telsa and the telsa is based of the lotus...but looks wise it looks like the telsa more.

Guys, they're just showcasing the powertrain, not the Viper. When an auto manufacturer wants a new engine to receive publicity, they'll often drop it in the nicest/most recognized vehicle they have. The Dodge EV could end up being the standard powertrain for most Dodge vehicles, but they wanted to put it in a Viper first to get the word out.
