Respect to the M3.

OK OK...

So after I had a little fun with the 645 the other day. I had to Give BMW and a good friend/coworker of mine some props.

He just bought what could be the first 2011 M3 in North FL...

And OMG it is one impressive car...

I LOVE my THR Camaro... No doubt about it... and I don't even think (ignoring market value) that I would trade cars with him....

But HOLY CRAP! I get it... That car is nearly perfectly engineered. Granted I could have almost 2 Camaros for the price of the M3 or one extremely built Camaro... (Speedster ) ... for that amount of money.

I'm here to tell you there is nothing in that car that isn't better than good.

Now for the meat of the order.... Can it beat a Stock SS..... I'm thinking Yes... It's almost as heavy and has real similar power 400hp+. But the engineering in this car will make up for any driver mistake that the Camaro won't... If I remember correctly the tranny has 15 different settings. Throttle control adjustment, no delay in the paddle shifter, NONE. The car does whatever you think it to do. In my opinion it make the driver feel separated from the car because the car never feels unsafe or out of control. I like the seat of the pants feel in the camaro. But holy crap it's quick and handles like it reads your mind...

So anyway. As a car lover I was compeled to give it some props. And the owner is a friend of mine. I made sure to ask if he got the BMW owner's labotomy option, he said he didn't. But he seems to be drinking more starbucks lately....

PICS!

You need to acknowledge excellence in your competition if you truly want to be the best. Some here still don't get it. Good post.

I think it is more-so, finally getting (not having) to respect something besides the Mustang.

Nice m3 btw, if he want's to make it a little less predictable, maybe a dinan stroker would be in his future?

IMO, the M3 is quite possibly the world's finest all around car. The engineering on that car is sick, sick sick.

Wow. Thanks for posting, she is a beauty.

Nice, I've got nothing but respect for my m3. Fortunately, I got mine pretty cheap when compared to the price of a new one. Albeit it's older, but I actually like the e46 gen better, maybe it's just me though.

Not a fan of the color though, blue looks so much better on the m3.

I agree, it will be interesting what the caddilac ats will be like. I'm assuming an ATS-V is also coming.

Cool stuff GTA. Looks like was at your office complex. Are you guys going to have a burnout contest soon (The THR, the M3 and the Caddy) ?
