What is your perception of the 2011 Shelby GT500?

Try not to answer this from a "Camaro vs Mustang" fan boy perspective. Try to answer the poll just judging the Shelby GT500 on its own merits.

Well...at least it's not a Toyoda...but I have to say, with some mods, they're pretty impressive, with the right driver.

It's a beast and looks great without the SVT Peformance package. Those thin stripes are ugly!

I am not a big fan of those thin stripes but I would definitely want the SVT package. I would live with the stripes.

they are plenty impressive without mods lol.

the 2010 is capable of 11s stock, the 2011 will be AT LEAST as quick.

with just a tire, these will be low 11 cars

I am thinking you might see Evan Smith drive a stock 2011 GT500 into the 11.6-11.7 range on the best run with stock tires. The tires they are offering on the 2011 with the SVT package are supposed to be pretty good.

I love love love the GT500's. Don't like the thin stripes on the 2011's, but still love it.

Great car. My friend has a 2009. I would like it better if it didnt say "shelby" all over it.
