Luckily no one was seriously hurt, the police had to rescue dozens of people in canoes, it was insane, only half an hour of ridiculous rain and it flooded half the city. So far 80+ homes had to be evacuated due to water flooding basements and continuing to flood main floors. Luckily our side of the city was not hit as bad and we never got any flooding. And thank god my camaro remained untouched in it's shed. After all this storming was over I went to check on it and the shed was untouched

it was kinda funny seeing them with 2 big pump trucks trying to pump the water out of the lake area back into the river....didn't work out so well, atleast the lake got a fresh stock of fish!!

looks like ur town got hit worse, looks pretty flat and even....Cherokee is built in a valley, and the flood plain parts of town have been established and noone is allowed to build there. few hundred foot difference between high part of town and the river
