March 2010 has NOT been my favorite month

My fiance rear ended someone (barely moving but it did enough damage) in her brand new (to her) 2008 Jeep Wrangler.

Fast forward a week, I'm driving back to Tallahassee after a weekend in Panama City Beach with her and my family...I'm about 5 miles from home, first 1 at a red light, light turns green I start to proceed. All of a sudden a cop car with it's light on, but no sirens emerges from behind a line of cars and it quite literally at my front fender running a red light.

The best way to explain this is it's an intersection, he's perpendicular to me and trying to turn to go the same direction that I'm going, he just doesn't stop at the red light after emerging from behind a line of cars. He's going too fast so he can't stay in his lane, comes into my middle lane and to avoid a 100% chance of collision with the cop car I try to get over....unluckily for me there is a person there.

After pulling over (cop never stopped) the lady (I use that term VERY loosely) is complaining of neck injury, body injury, head injury, hand injury, everything injury.

We were going 10 MAYBE 15 mph and we hit going the same direction...and I hit her passenger side...it literally could not have been any LESS traumatic of a crash.

The good part was when I called the cops and they asked what cars were involved I told them a 2010 Camaro and her Ford Escort...then the cop (on the phone mind you) asked me what color the Camaro was....when my answer was "black" ...

The lady freaked out, , "What do you meeeaann? BLACK? What the He11 does BLACK have to with it?" She immediatly pulled the race card, I just looked at her and I said "Mam, my car is black...the color of the car I am driving is black."

So she cusses me up and down until the cop gets there, 5 minutes or so, "F this, I'll kick your a--"

and then when the cop arrives she continues to cuss me up and down...just under her breath so that I could hear her and not the cop So I got to listen to that for 45 more minutes.

Luckily the cop didn't write me a ticket, but also never figured out what car had been dispatched at that time (surprise, surprise). I end up getting home at about 2am after sitting there for well over an hour and then I get to unpack my Camaro which was full of my fiancee's things as we're trying to move her up to Tallahassee little by little to avoid having to rent a Uhaul so I ended up going to bed at like 3am that night and got about 4 hours sleep.

And finally last night, I'm talking to my fiance and she tells me that she was talking to her boss and the transfer that they've been telling her all along was gonna be no problem and would definitely go through probably isn't since their sales at Enterprise across Florida have been so low the manager is only wanting to retain people who have extremely high sales. Hers are kinda eh...but I think it has a lot to do with the branch she's at and the kind of clients that come in.

So long story short March 2010 (so far) has meant 2 car accidents and my fiance pretty much lost her job. And now we get to get married in 2 months...she's gonna need to find a new job fast. She's got 78 days to find new employment...Here's hoping April 2010 changes our luck.

:( Man, I'm so sorry to hear about all that's happened to you! I know it seems very stressful and I would have lost it against the "injured woman" within 5 minutes! I commend you for keeping your composure so well! I know I have no place to say this, but try to stay positive if you can. If you think negative thoughts, that is all that you are going to attract. Remind yourself that things will be better and you'll be happier in the end!!

Oh, it's nothing so bad I just wanted to vent a little is all...if anyone wants to see what the damage is on the car they can pm me their phone # and I can text the picture. I can't go to photobucket or any website like that at work and I don't have the internet at my apartment.

The woman was ridiculous...I honestly can't belive a 56 year old woman would act and talk the way she did. You would think that people would mature...I feel sorry for the people that call that woman Granny...I'm glad I had better role models in my life than that.

If anybody in the Tallahassee, FL area is hiring my fiance will be looking for a job! Spread the word because the wedding is in 78 days and my paycheck just ain't gonna cover all of it

Eventually it will get better, just chill for now. Honestly, getting yourself hyped up and mad will result in a lot of stress, so just kind of lay everything unimportant on the side for a week or so.

But I would have gone ballistic on that woman's a*s, if I were you, so at least you managed to keep your cool.

Lucky man, good looking fiance and is she fat or pregnant? Not trying to insult you, but if you got a kid on the way then more power to you.

Sorry about the bad luck man.

@ 2000v6 - where do you get that comment about his fiance from? I don't see anything that would suggest EITHER of those two conclusions? Plus - why say that anyway?

She's not a pencil thin girl, but I would say she's far from being fat or pregnant looking...and no she's neither...

Yeh, I didn't mean to write it hear, my bad. It was meant to go on another person's fb page. I just wasn't looking at what I was writing, where I was writing it.

Great looking fiance though

if your wife looks like that you shouldn't be worried about cars or accidents. ha

you sound smart that you at least are trying to marry someone and not let them get away.

You can always improve things after you get married. opportunities are out there.

sorry about the cars but later on, you will find out that cars don't really matter. you likely will have a lot bigger things to worry about then just that if you get hitched. (this coming from someone who is married right now).
