Corvette Centennial Concept

Set to appear in the upcoming movie "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen" as well as to celebrate General Motors 100-year anniversary, the Centennial Concept is sparking a bunch of intrigue. Borrowing many styling cues, like the split rear-window from the ’63 Sting Ray, this new Corvette concept definitely had some thought put into it. No word on whether or not this could hint at the upcoming Corvette C7.

Looks like the Stingray may be making a comeback!

I love the Sting Ray emblem. If an appropriate homage to the Sting Ray can be developed, it would be worthy of that logo.

I really don't like the tail end of this Corvette. The exhausts belong on a beater Civic, and all Corvettes should have 4 round tails.

It looks neat, but it could never be produced without a moderate amount of 'watering down'. I'd like to see a Stingray inspired C7 generation of Corvettes, C4-6 have all been too evolutionary in (exterior) design.

strange. LOVE the stingray badge. That is killer.

I like the majority of the design....rear end could have a tweak here or there.

Having owned a 65 Stingray, a return to a similar bodystyle would be welcome to me.. It looks good, but would probably be softened up a little for production.. I do like the Stingray emblem on the back.. now that is one of the best emblems I have ever seen.

design study... some styling cues may make it to production, but it wont look anything like that.
