Hummer Sale Falls Through

IMO, they should keep the H3T and build it under GMC.

Can't say that I'm shocked... The original Humvee is the only one that I could ever justify- never really liked the watered down GM version. (Sadly)

Just spoke with a friend whose Company has been negotiating with HUMMER/China for 10 months on a $180KK contract...now kaput! NO dancing in the streets of his neighborhood, today...

But there ARE other "suitors"...

You mean build another crew cab Canyon? The H3/H3T chassis only has very slight differences between it and the Colorado/Canyon.

New reports coming on the future of Colorado/Canyon...it appears there won't be one according to comments by Lutz. I'll post another thread for that one.

The brand had out lived its appeal, time to die. I'm surprised anyone was even interested in buying it.

Up to six others, apparently...

For what, and how much?

Details will surely follow...

i seen this H3T on the road today... it looks bigger than the colorado/canyon, but im sure it's the same chassis... all 3 vehicles are behind the times on technology which is one of the reasons they don't sell well...

The H2 is on an enlarged Suburban chassis, could be similar for the H3. Anyway, the whole point of Hummers is low tech and rugged. No electronic LSD, use a mechanical locker. Unless you were talking about other things.

Actually, Hummer still might get bought. The same company has some offshore investments. A little money shuffling could mean a sale without government involvement.
