Wink anybody build model cars/trucks?

I have been building them since i was a little boy. I mostly do the older stuff, mainly muscle cars but I DO do some from different eras. right now I am working on no less than THREE of them .

model one: 1969 Camaro Z28 ragtop

taking a model of a 69 RS/SS Indy pace car kit and making it into a regular Z/28 ragtop thankfully the kit supplys both the the RS/SS and Z/28 tail lights, steering wheels (one is a horizontal rectangular horn pad the other has round with 3 spokes). the only problem I had was the grille, the kit has the flat grille with the 'hideaways'. I found a buddy of mine who had the regular Z/28 grille and headlights. when done it will be a replica of the car Josh Dushamel drove on the show Las Vegas.

model two: 1958 Plymouth Belvedere hard top aka Christine

this is just a box stock build except I am swapping the intake manifold and single carb and single air cleaner for a dual quad setup used in a 57 300C kit that i got in a trade. I also made the movie correct CQB 241 california plates too. I am not sure if I want to forget about the interor and just black out the windows (kit has full side glass PERFECT for duplicating the blacked out glass).

model three: 2006 Ford Mustang GT: Bullitt Edtion

this one I started on before Ford announced a 'bullitt' edition mustang. I knew they were planning on one. my car will be more of what I would have done differently. just like the REAL car it will be a hardtop painted dark green (mine is gonna be Brittish Racing Green and is a good match for 'highland green') and I found a set of the 'torque thrust' looking rims. the things I am doing different is I am putting in rear quarter window louvers like the 67/68 cars had. and my interior will be all black but the steering wheel rim will be brown along with the shift knob.

WHEW!!

Fen, is that the revell/monogram snap would say SNAPTITE on the box it also came in a box with the HOT WHEELS logo on it. I have a 'concept' camaro but it is a AMT kit which has more detail like opening hood etc. but from what I have seen and heard the snaptite one the body looks more accurate and it has the 'bumblebee' stripes perfect for making your own Bumblebee

Yup, it's the Snaptite one. I was too lazy to get the really good one where you had to glue stuff.

On my dresser I have a model for each generation Camaro leading up to the new 5th generation concept. From left to right 1969 Z/28, 1970 Z/28, 1986 IROC-Z, 2002 SS, and the "2006" Camaro Concept. Once I finally get them painted Ill take a picture. Sort of an evolution themed thing. One day I hope to have the actual cars all in my twelve car garage...*snort* huh? Oh, I was having the most wonderful dream...

I love model cars. I find now though that I buy more than I build. I have probably 100+ unbuilt 1/25 scale cars. All old stuff some re-issue others original old stock.

Here is one I did of my '79 Z.
