Wow, 1 year since the bad news.

Well just talking to PQ and we looked back to a year ago this time when I was heart broken to find out my youngest daughter had cancer. I am glad to say though today she is still in remission and finally back at school. She has been doing wieght and arobic training and getting her strength back.

I actually took a brush and parted her hair the other day!! It is coming back in nice and thick but it is black now and not blonde. Her scratch marks from the itching are finally fading. They where all black and she looked like she had been cutting her body. Her neck, back of her shoulder and stomach where real bad. But it is slowly clearing up.

I want to really thank all of your for support and prayers you gave Stephanie and our family. Many of you have become real good family friends (Donna, Randy, Bonnie, Trina and many others). I also want thank Tran, Tag and some other mods that got ahold of Fbodfather and got us #230 alot faster than it would of happened.

Well just wanted to thank you all in looking back at this last year.

Thanks

Scott

It does seem like a long time ago when I first read your story. To this day I still can not imagine how hard this has been on your family. I have a small daughter and I would not take it very well if I got news like you got.

Now, I am so glad to hear things are going well. Here is hoping and praying it stays that way.

THAT IS AWESOME! I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer back in June(5 days after I got married) and am currently still going through the treatments to take care of it! I have a 5 year old daughter myself and can only imagine what you must have felt finding that out! I pray she will never have to face this horrible disease! Keep up the battle! Its hearing stuff like that that keep me fighting too! I WILL beat this and be there for my daughter as I KNOW your daughter will be there for you! Congrats again on continued success in remission!

That is great Scott! It wont take long for it to be over either! My son is now in full remission after his cancer. He is 15 and looks like a MOOSE! He was 4 when we found out he had cancer! Anyway... time will fly by!

Scott, I have been following this story for a year since I joined Camaro5 and don't think I have ever posted to one of your threads. Your daughter and family have been in my thoughts and prayers all this time though. It's good to hear things are looking up. I have 2 daughters that mean the world to me so I understand how hard this must have been. You have a great family here at Camaro5.
