Milan Drag Strip Challenge

I have a guy at work whom bought a Subaru Forrester long before my 2SS arrived. He can't stand to be one-upped by anyone though I could care less. He went and sunk several thousands of dollars into his SUV motor only to find it lacking in comparison. Is anyone in the area interested in racing him at Milan Dragway (southern MI)?

Why can't you race him? That would really make him mad if you smoke his modified against your stock SS. I might be willing to race him in the summer if he wants to head to Midmichigan Motor Plex in Stanton.

It would really be big if Cyn shows up and smokes him. Nothing worse then getting a beating from a woman!!! (Unless your into it.)

I can't discuss the results of our meeting because I recieved a warning. I am not a racecar driver, just an enthusiast. It's a lot safer for my ego if someone else races and beats him. I may screw it up and have to hang my head in shame for the rest of my working days. But TODAY, I hold the office bragging rights over the spoiled little 38 year old brat. His challenge was "neither you nor your Camaro 5 people can touch him at Milan."

That's because Milan typically sucks... I HATE going there... Agreed about heading up to Mid-Michigan though! Great place to race!

So what has he done to it... I read up on the little turbo version:

"At the test track, the Forester 2.5XT Limited runs to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds (6.6 seconds with 1 foot of rollout like on a drag strip), and takes 15.1 seconds to close the quarter-mile gap at 90.4 mph."

Hmmm... looks like the FAT GUY in the V6 Camaro could beat him... LOL

Don't Know

4" piping (?) and exhaust. It was fast but didn't seem to have the gears and axles (all-wheel drive), to go with it.

Well... let me know when he wants to line up at the track and I'll run him with my little V6...

Best place to grudge match is probably Lapeer..... never crowded and you can easily line up against each other... Milan is always crowded and it's basically impossible unless you go an a special grudge night which i think is more $$$ and very crowded...

I'll make a nice video production of the event if I can pull it off. I'll probably have to look for work though if you win, but that's OK. Something always turns up if the face of complete utter disaster and professional annihilation lol.
