Hm..... space empire building game from 1st person perspective? Difficult to place. You start off with a single fighter, fly around, do missions, blow up pirates, trade resources. Then once you get enough money (or get lucky and get someone to abandon their ship), you can buy more fighters or freighters, even your own space stations. Eventually you can build up your own fleet of ships that you can control (all while you are still flying around in one of the ships you own). All of this with over 60 + star systems that you can roam at will.

It has a very steep learning curve (game could REALLY use a better tutorial), but once you get into it is very addictive.

I don't think you'll find many people playing a game of that depth here....

That said I do love X3:TC.

Jeez, I just keep exploring and capturing ships before I start my empire.

Found some dead end unknown systems that would be perfect for my start

Yeah I did a lil bit of that first, but once I figured out I could hire the supply mammoths to carry my stations to where I want them I got started on that. Think I'm up to about 30 million credits now (after I went and bought myself a Centaur).
