Nice butt!!

Today my wife told me I have a really nice butt. She was driving and following behind me - she was talking about the Camaro, apparently. She's seen the car plenty, but not followed me before as to really get the full motion picture.

Her comments were "It looks SO much better than a Corvette. Both cars look like women and the Corvette is cute and shapely and all, but the Camaro... she's sexy and TOUGH!"

I've not named my car in the official sentimental sense, but I've referred to it a few times as J-Lo due to the car's proportions...

To each their own and I'm glad your pleased with it. Personally, I think the ass end of the Camaro is its worst feature in terms of styling.

No kidding, I have heard the same thing about the Mustang. But like you say, (and I do too) to each their own. .

My car has received the compliment "Nice a$$!"

i feel the same way about your mustang. I think the mustang looks mean from the front, but everytime i look at the rear i think they could have done better. In the end these muscle cars are all about taste. They all perform very well and anyone thats behind the wheel of any one of the 3 american muscle giants should consider themself lucky.

Yeah, only difference is, if I get tired of seeing the ass-end of a Camaro, I'll just pass it.

All kidding aside, it's not that the back end is horrible on the Camaro, it just seems like as they were going through the design of the car GM brass called down and said we need the final design asap and they just slapped something on it.

Because it doesn't share any design ques with the Corvette or anything

Early on I hated the design of the back end, now I just don't care. But generally speaking, its very hard to get the rear of a car to look great. Front and profile views are a lot easier.

I think it was just harder to affordably adjust it from concept form to production than the front.

Agreed. That's why so many cars just look the same from behind. Plain and crappy.

One thing about the Camaro is it's definately different from the masses.

See, I think these were some of the Camaro design inspirations:

Gazelles don't stand a chance - much less wild horses...
