I haven't laughed so hard in a while. The out right false facts complimented by their attitude is hilarious. I always thought GTO's were ugly and slow but I never knew the owners were so delusional. I guess mid 13's with 400hp will do that to you

They are posting their opinions. If you're happy with your car, why should what haters write bother you? FYI, not all GTO owners agree with that. You might stop and think about that next time before you post something in an effort to stir the pot like you're doing in this thread.

Probably because the sheer lack of respect they have for the Camaro isn't warranted. Look at the pure ignorance of the OP on that forum. He clearly has no idea what he is talking about in terms of Camaros. Then he discourages everybody else on that thread that might be potential Camaro owners from considering the car, like the second to last poster before I posted. He was clearly on the fence and then this moron posts pure misinformation about Camaros. If you can voice your opinion about Mustangs and Challengers here, we should have to right to intelligently voice our discontent about GTO's. I don't care what anybody says but the GTO's were garbage, despite them being a GM product. The GTO was a half-a**ed project of misguided faith instead of a labor of love like the Gen 5 Camaro.

Considering the problems that the GTO experienced like strut rub blowing front tires, engine covers rubbing fuel lines that caused a few to go up in flames, and at least a couple other things I don't recall.

Well, i'm not a huge fan of the interior, but it's no where near a deal breaker. It's actually growing on me.

yup everyone has and is entitled to their opinion. i think its dumb to go around and bash other people for their taste in cars. i did however post in that thread just to clarify the "lack of performance" between the two cars apparently..

You're brave to go in there and comment. IMO its just not worth it. You can argue and prove them wrong all day long and they won't agree just like most of us won't agree.

I love how someone talks about how he took out and performance drove all these brand new cars (Mustang, Camaro, etc) took it out on switchbacks and tried to powerslide. You need to take it where it comes from, and if he can't justify where and how he was able to do this then hes just another fanboy who is taking his opinion from a short dealership test drive and some reviews he read online.

Its the internet everyone is an expert, and I would be money this guy is an expert in taking magazine reviews and rewriting them to fit his own views. He will probably have some sort of story about how he got to do this that he can't prove eitehr way, but it will sound good....

I didn't post this to "stir the pot". I just found it funny and wanted to share. The large amount of made and untrue facts really had me laughing about it. It's funny about how many people make up reasons not to like a car because they are in a group. I found that thread through a local GTO forum with posts from people who have personally said they love my car. Now they are in a group and bashing it. Once again I am sharing this just out of amusement and for others to get a laugh. Any body who is upset that I posted this up needs to lighten up and realize this is just the internet.
