Cool Hello from St. Louis!

Hey everyone!

I recently traded in my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 for a 2017 Camaro 2SS with a 6-speed manual, npp exhaust, and magnetic ride control.

Originally, I was eying the Challenger SRT-8 (392)/Scat pack. My dad ended up getting one so that was out of the question. I'm glad he did, I think the Camaro fits me a lot better, and it feels faster

So far I have really enjoyed the car! It has so much power and handles like a dream, much more nimble than my Jeep or dad's Challenger. It reminds me of my old '08 350Z.

All the technology in the car is astounding and makes the car a great value. I'm still having trouble figuring out the usb ports. Quick questions:

-Will micro sd card adapters work? I purchased a micro sd card reader and card to fit all of my music and it doesn't show up. I'm going to try and get a Samsung mini flash drive 128 gb

-Is there a size/file limit for a flash drive that the car can handle? I have ~60 gb of music I would like to have on the mylink radio (android auto 6 touch limit sucks! )

-After searching I read that the flash drives need to be Fat-32 formatted. Well that only works on 32 gb drives apparently. Is it safe to assume that ex-fat (extended FAT) works as well?

Here's two pics of the jeep:

And the Camaro

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

If you click the search bar and type MyLink USB there is 11 pages of posts that may help you. I personally prefer the sound of a screaming supercharger and rumbling exhaust...so I don't use the MyLink much, so I can't help much with your question, but if you read through some earlier posts I would imagine you will find what you are looking for. There is a crap load of information here!

Fortunately, I'm pretty savvy when it comes to searching forums, I was on a few 350Z forums.

Unfortunately, I didn't find direct answers. So I guess I'll just try out a 128 gb flash drive and see if it works lol. Ex-fat didn't work on my micro SD but maybe it doesn't like ssd. oh well, more reason to try new things

I wish I could have afforded a supercharger... then again i'd get too many tickets lol!

I used to live in the loop (skinker and washington). I was a student at UMSL at the time as well so I passed through the area quite often.

Since I graduated I stay away from that area lol.

I saw there was a shooting at that intersection today.

I lived there 15 years ago. There were lots of areas I tried to stay out of. It's amazing you can cross a street and go from good to bad. And who's the idiot that designed the roads? A map of STL looks like a plate of spaghetti, not a straight road any where.

Not surprised. Not the greatest area.

It really is amazing. Literally a block or two can make a huge difference. I work in midtown and if you're a 4-5 blocks north of olive you're in trouble.
