More power?

I have an ECS kit [restricted] and would like to make some more power. I have Meth also , most likely need injectors or / and pump. It has the ZL1 pump and a Bap. Not sure what size injectors I would need , ID 850 or 1000?? Car made 741 rwhp 678 Tq on ECS dyno. Thanks for any help.

If your at 741 hp and wanting more then you (like many of us) are smitten with mod fever my friend. Just like Unavowed said . . . that next jump should factor in E85 and yes, it is gonna $ting a bit, but if you do it right then you will be set for 1000+ hp, at least on the fuel supply side.

1000 injectors are only going to take you to about 825-850 hp (on E85), and I know you are thinking "that is enough" but my friend, changing injectors every time you want to take a hp jump is going to be costly, so take the big bite and do it right. Merry Christmas!

I'd go 1700 injectors, E85 with twin pumps

Forgot to say, not doing E85. If I go to the track I will dump some race fuel in it. Was Looking to take it to maybe 825 to 850. Should be able to get there with more boost. I think the ECS kit will make 15 / 16 lbs Unrestricted?? Ecs had told me back when they tuned it the fuel system was maxed out.

Not sure how much Meth I'm spraying. I had Doug @ ECS tune it and I installed the Meth kit and supercharger.

I feel ya there. I would absolutely love to go E85 on my car but I’d have to drive an hour and a half one way just to get it.

As for your fuel system components, it’s always better to go a little overkill with injectors and pump. Last thing you want to do is spend a good chunk of money on a fuel system, turn up the boost later down the road and then have to spend that money again to upgrade the same components you already upgraded.

825-850 rwhp is bumping the limits of pump gas honestly. Could you do it, sure. Is it safe to do tho...? I wouldn’t lean on pump gas that hard. I’d keep it at about 750 rwhp for the street considering that’s more than the road can take anyway and then have a race gas tune for the track you can switch to and dump some C16 in it.

Just my by-no-means-professional opinion.

Even with using Meth injection?

In my opinion, meth should be setup as a safety net. Not relied upon to make as much power as possible. If you’re leaning hard on meth for making every bit of power you can, it’s not going to end well if something in the methanol setup malfunctions.

Are you on a stock bottom end?

That’s a bold move. Even getting the fueling figured out for 825~850rwhp, idk that it would live very long on a stock bottom end.

Sounds like you don’t mind pushing the limits so if that’s what you wanna do, throw a Fore dual pump setup in it, some ID1050’s and do it to it. I would definitely recommend having a rainy day fund on hand for a full rebuild tho.
