South Florida - First Camaro - Love the Car

I just bought a used 1SS with some upgrades.

Certified Pre-Owned blah blah

Leather seats
PDR
NPP

Maybe some others that I don't know about

I have Nitto 555s G2 on the rear, 275/35/20 I believe

and the Eagle run flats in the front.

Ive never had a "performance car."

My wife hass the most performance car Ive ever had,

Lexus GS 350 F Sport

I plan on doing some brake fluid flush with some racing fluid like motul600 or something as I plan on going to Palm Beach International Raceway to go on their road course. 2 miles 11 turns.

They have a drag strip, Id also like to go on that.

Get some base times and then do some additions to the car - Headers, Hi flow cats, x pipe, CAI and maybe an E85 tune.

I may do more after that, we will see.

Those are the plans.

Lots of people on here, good resource, and if anyone is at PBIR I should be there on the 21st of October Black 1SS and a white Lexus.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Welcome. But, how do you have PDR on a 2016? It wasn't available until the 1LE or ZL1 in 2017...

So maybe I am calling this option by the wrong name.

It's built into the instrument cluster screen.

It will record track laps, 0-60 times, 1/4mi times and some other things.

Maybe that's normal on a 1ss?

I just googled PDR, no!!! I wish i had that.
