Thumbs down Toyata Tacoma

Should be a GREAT selling point for buying one.

"The top reason for getting any Toyota is longevity and reliability. Sure, roll your eyes, but there’s a reason why even ISIS fighters prefer Toyotas for waging desert warfare. Getting stranded in the middle of nowhere is absolutely no fun."

They don't use Tacoma's. If you have had the fun of seeing a Soviet 12.7mm in the back of a Toyota Hi-Lux, we called them "technical's".

Yeah, the Toyota Hi-Lux is a far more capable truck than the Tacoma sold in the states.

I am driving my 6th Toyota truck these days but the Colorado has caught my eye.
On the other hand, a diesel Tacoma would be tough to beat. We'll see if they answer the call in the coming years.

I thought this thread was going to be about the Tacos catching on fire due to a leaking diff or the crappy engine eating itself alive.

I loved my 98, my brother's 06 not so much. I don't even bother to look at them anymore, there is absolutely no sense when a full size truck can be purchased for the same cost and it does a lot more.

I had a 91 Toyota Truck... the Tacoma's aren't the same anymore.
