Coilovers

So after purchasing my 2016 Camaro SS and driving it for about a year now, I've come to the realization that I may have made a bad decision when I told the dealer "I don't want magnetic ride control." Don't get me wrong, coming from a 2012 Nissan 370Z, the ride quality is night and day (plus the 20 inch wheels with semi thin tires I installed on the vehicle didn't help the ride quality either). But now that I've been moved to New York for my job and the streets are horrible, I need something to help with the terrible streets.

So long story short is I have to go for the next best thing, which in my opinion would be coilovers. My brother tried talking me into getting air suspension but I just can't seem to wrap my head around the price with the ride quality being about the same to that of traditional coilovers. Now the big question is, which coilover setup would be best for our cars? I've done some research and a lot of people are blown away by the KW V3, which aren't too expensive but definitely not the cheapest. They use quality material and don't seem to have many failures. Are there any other coilovers on the market that could compare with the KW V3's that are within the same price range?

Keeping in mind that my Camaro is not my daily. I drive it maybe once a week, depending on how I feel. I most drive it on the weekends when the wife and kid is out and about.

In my experience, coilovers are good for lowering the stance or, for a higher price, improved performance on smooth roads or track use. The experience on rough roads is usually worse. I havent rode on any with a wide enough adjustment to provide a more comfortable ride than stock.
For rougher terrain you would want a change of springs/shocks and higher profile tires.
