So, what are your thoughts on turning a NA track car into an FI car? Sounds like you won't be tracking it right?

How much weight does a procharger add up front?

What do you think about this NA option from Lingenfelter:

If you are asking my personal opinion then I have no issue turning a N/A car into a forced induction car, track car or not. I had planed on doing it to the stingray and I knew I wanted to do it to the Camaro. The ZL1 1LE is a FI track car. I'm not comparing the two, I'm just saying. I knew I wanted to buy the lesser model and put my own mods on it and make it faster or just as capable. And how much is that Lingenfelter package going to run you? Your probably going to pay an astronomical price compared to what I paid. The biggest difference is yours will come with a warranty. If you want that piece of mind, then hey go for it. I wouldn't knock what anyone wants to do. But for me I am doing a budgeted build in phases. I just happen to be lucky and my dad is a mechanic and just all around mechanical genius. The only thing he can't really do is tune the car since he was brought up on carbureted motors and doesn't really have the software know how for tuning these newer cars. Either way you go its all about what excites you and how can you get the most enjoyment out of the car.

I agree with what you are saying.

I was more coming at it from a 1LE track purists' point of view. The ZL1 1LE has a lot of extra cooling for the track to overcome heat soak.

I am for sure not against turning a 1LE FI, i'm not a purist by any stretch of the word.

Thinking about ordering an Anderson Composites carbon fiber hood in the future. What do you guys think about the one that looks like the ZL1 hood? Also, if I did get the new hood, would anyone want to buy my 1/LE hood wrapped with the 1/LE hash mark? Just wondering.
