Fix my knife

I have a spring assisted pocket knife i really like. The tab that goes into the button has broken off.

I pulled it apart and looks like a very thin piece of metal. Thoughts on how i can fix this?

I would've but there are no manufacturer markings at all. I bought it at a bike rally so I'm sure it's cheap Chinese junk metal.

Thanks. Blade is less than 5.5"so legal in tx. I found a replacement chassis for 13 bucks after searching around. I'm thinking about cutting my own chassis out of steel. We'll see how that turns out
