McLeod RXT or Monster LT1-SC
I've been doing my research and it has come down to these two choices. They're both rated for the same amount of power and the same price. What has been your experience with either clutch?
Also what else do I need besides the clutch, steel flywheel and speed bleeder?

I've had zero issues with the RXT, the only other thing I would add to your list would be a slave cylinder pending the mileage on your car. While you have it apart.

I am getting ready to buy a Monster clutch myself and per the guys at monster they advised me to either go with a LT1-S (good for 700hp) or the LT1 triple disc (1000+) depending on what I planed to do power wise and future plans.

I only have 14K miles, I heard that slave cylinder wasn't necessary for that low of miles.

Why didn't they recommend the LT1-SC? It's rated for 1000rwhp/1000rwtq also.

14K miles would probably be fine, I had 4K when I changed mine out

That was what I originally was going to order but they advised that it was a race application. Not very friendly to drive on the road. He strongly recommended not going with that one for me. I am at 658 and doubt I go much higher in power until building the motor which will be far down the line so I am going with the LT1-S. He said he knew of several running higher than 700hp and was holding fine so being that he works there I tend to want to trust them especially when they are pointing you to a cheaper version lol. But I am getting their billet slave support...many recommend this as the stock one seems to be a issue so I would suggest upgrading that anyway when you do this.
