Hi folks, I'm new!

Hi everyone!

I'm John, from Southampton UK. Always wanted a new mustang since the s197 launched in 2004/5 and now I'm finally in a position to almost afford one, I'm torn between a 2010 on model and a Camaro!

So I thought I'd join here and get myself up to speed to help make the choice 😉

John, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Thanks guys!!!

SO... if I have £20k as a ceiling, and want a v8, should I be looking at a 5.0 mustang or a Camaro SS? (There's a cat D repaired one on ebay that's well within my budget)

Hmm.. may be a little biased here but whatever you choose needs to make you happy.. Drive them both and make a decision.. you really can't go wrong as long as it makes ya smile.. Welcome aboard

Welcome aboard!! As sdynak mentioned, you need to drive them both, and then decide which is right for you.
