I'm sure just about everyone will be having some sales soon due to Black Friday and cyber Monday coming up. I know JDP is supposedly cutting prices all month long. While I don't know exactly what vendors sell what brands I can give you an idea of who to look towards depending in what you want out of your exhaust. Do you want a raw sound? Something refined, but aggressive when you want it? Do you want something with zero drone or something with little drone but a nice aggressive tone?

No drone , loud but not raspy to where it sounds like a Honda . I would like summtin with 2.5 diameter piping to allow more flow . I am going to use my stock cats and gut them since I've heared that aftermarket cat and FI don't mix. Leaning towards a catback but not oppose to getting a used ss exhaust then attaching a axel back . Am considering pypes v8 catback

I'd say your two best options in that case would be the corsa and solo. They don't drone it's quiet when you wnt em and loud when you want. Gutting your cats should make your exhaust a tad louder as well.

Let us know what you think about them! I think the j pipes can be removed on the solo unit should you go to a track or something and want it to be louder but it will drone. The corsa system's selling point is that it's guaranteed not to drone, and they make very high quality exhaust, not to say solo doesn't they clearly do. But I believe corsa has been around longer

Considering you're going catless, I would do a Magnaflow Resonated X pipe and the MRT V1. This will be a good setup that will control rasp and drone.

If you're wanting to go with a full cat-back the Magnaflow Part # 16583 is a great setup, but not super aggressive.

Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

Tyler

I would also recommend the Magnaflow Cat back.

We have our Black Friday Special on Magnaflow on Sunday.

Click on my signature on Sunday to see the price.

I will be updating my Black Friday thread very soon.

The resonated X pipe will tone down the sound by about 20-25%; that's why I recommended the more aggressive V 1.0 MRT system. The Resonated X will be necessary to remove the rasp from going catless.

On the Camaro, the cats are forward of where the X pipe would be, so they're separate pieces.

Let me know if I can help you further.

Best regards,

Tyler
