I don't mind the remake, it was only a matter of time. I'm just not sure about Marky Mark playing Steve Austin.

I'm a slight fan of Mark. He's ok imo for the role. I'm more comfortable with the decision on Mark than the decision on the remake lol.

I think I'm ok with it, as long as they do a good job with the film. Movie is different than the TV series, even though there were a couple of 6 Mil Man movies that were made, if I recall correctly. The series became campy. I actually hadn't heard about this until now, and I'm kind of psyched to see it being made.
As far as Marky Mark...I'm ok with it.

He's a decent choice, and pretty good actor.
He is 5'8" and maybe 160 Lbs soaking wet, with quarters in his pockets, yet he did a pretty good job playing Marcus Luttrell who is 6'6' 240

They should have merged this with the "Planet of the Apes" franchise and fitted his character with the arm, legs, and eye of a gorilla after he went back through the time warp and re-crashed back on earth..
